Do something positive and you’ll see
something positive
Mercy’s Mighty Foundation was formed in loving memory of 6 year old Mercy Cuthbertson who devastatingly lost her life to a DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumour after a courageous nine month battle.
The overarching aim of the foundation is simple, we will strive to support paediatric brain tumour patients and their families at a time when they need it most.
The Foundation will support children diagnosed with a DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumour by sending them a Dream box filled with crafts, providing them with Smyths toy vouchers and we may also fund a short term respite break for the child and their family.
We will also actively raise awareness around paediatric brain tumours, championing the cause and disseminating useful research so our aim is continually supported.
Mercy’s DIPG brain tumour journey was not in vain, her memory and legacy will support other families and give back to those facing the same fight that she did.
Thank you for your support – it WILL make a difference.
